Mark Curran` (12/24/2006 10:53:30 AM) - I have many stories to tell of my brother from another mother. I shall endeavor to tell some in the upcoming weeks and months. Up to now it has been to painful. But the time has come.
I was reading Brian's post about the slap on the neck and it reminded me of the famous two brothers story.
Mo and I were out and about one day one we both needed a hair cut. So off we went to "Two Brothers".
If you have not been to "Two Brothers" it is a relaxing experience.
So into the chair I went. Obviously with the extent of the haircut it was not much time until I was done.
At the end of your "Two Brothers" experience you were given a neck message which consisted of several quick relaxing karate chops to the next to loosen you up.
Well, when my artist was done creating his masterpiece when my relaxation began. It was not long until I realized that I was not being relaxed but pulverized. It was not that gentle relaxing message I had grown accustomed to, but a beating. As I struggled to raise my neck to see who was administering my beating, it was not a usual suspect at "Two Brothers", but my brother Mo using every technique of leveraged blows, attempting to not relax but subdue. His smile/grimace was from ear to ear as he attempted to work out the kinks in my neck.
What a beautiful smile it was, as Mo lived life.
I miss you brother. |
