- I came to visit friends in Fayetteville years ago, and stopped in to see Maurice and Karen. They had just bought some furniture for their home, and there was a well worn recliner chair in their living room, among all the new furniture. I asked about the recliner, and Mo and Karen laughed because after they were married, Karen came to live with Mo, and all he had in his place was the recliner and TV. He had lived like that for months! He said it reminded him how much he missed Karen, and now that they were together they could furnish their home. Mo and Karen taught everyone who knew them about true love. And their children will teach others about it when they are older, and the world will be a better place because of them. Karen, I will continue to keep you and you family in my prayers. |
